Meet Awele!

Founder and President

For many young girls, the absence of a father leaves a lasting imprint—one that shapes their sense of worth, relationships, and even how they see God. It’s a silent struggle, often buried beneath resilience, but its effects run deep. I know this because I’ve lived it. For years, I wrestled with questions of identity and value, not realizing how much of it was tied to the absence of a consistent father figure in my life.

But then, God met me in the midst of my brokenness. He called me to know Him, not just as God, but as Father. In that journey, I found healing, identity, and a love that had been missing all along. And I knew I wasn’t alone. So many daughters, just like me, were walking through life with wounds left by absent fathers—questioning their worth, struggling in relationships, and longing for something more.

That’s why Daughters Restored was born. In 2019, I answered the call to create a space where girls and young women could heal, find their worth, and experience the love of the ultimate Father. This isn’t just my story—it’s the story of countless others who are searching for the same restoration. And through Daughters Restored, we are restoring identity, one daughter at a time.
